Amoroso 2012 The Zweigelt from Szőlőhegy has duly expressed its gratitude for caretaking. The grape simply had a great time on that field. Naturally, crop restriction to 800 gramms per wine-stock also pampered the grape. All the heat of the south-eastern exposure matured the grape which manifested in the rich flowing black juice. We have managed to retain its fruitiness and bottled it without filtering. |

2013 Tsokoláta 100 % Merlot from one vinyard. Franz Liszt liked red wine from Szekszárd very much. In his letters he called it „NECTAR SEXARDIQUE”. It is not a tale, wittnesses are Franz Liszt’s letters to Baron Antal Augusz kept int he Museum of Szekszárd. Perhaps, such wines inspired the name „NECTAR SEXARDIQUE”. |

Primus 2011 – Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc /50-50 %/ were harvested from the same area at the same time and it is our only wine fermented together. The extremely good terrain, the very late harvest, drastic selection of grapes all have contributed to its outstanding quality.
|
Vízöntő – Aquarius 2013 – Our best wines were blended in the Aquarius Cuvée 2013. Blaufrankish as its backbone which defines its colour and fruitiness finetuned with the excitement delivered by Cabernet Sauvignon. Ideal for friendly gatherings, evening chats.

2011 NERO
Nero is a grape variety selected in Hungary. It is a resistent one, as the plant is producing a huge quantity of antioxidants, for this reason it does not require spraying with chemicals in the wineyard. These antioxidants are rescued into the wine as well, the Nero wine’s antioxidant content is seven times higher compared to an average aged red wine. |
Éjszakai Repülés / Night Flight / 2011 - My Father is a pilot. Once he told me a story of an exciting flight , dark night and exciting adventures played the main role. My Father was born in Szekszárd, he likes very much the red wine coming from there. Especially the ones which are like this flight: dark and exciting. I dedicate this wine to my Father, Merfelsz István, the pilot.
Kadarka Rosé 2009
It was in the year 2009 when we first produced rosé from Kadarka. Our aim was to preserve the ripe fruit, to bring to perfection the tastes of Kadarka. After tender and slow processing procedures at controlled temperatures in steel tanks the wine was immediately filled into bottles. This was followed by a period of ripening process in bottles. Its darker colour is due to a later than usual harvest.
NERO Nectar 2009
Nero is a Hungarian breed of grape, the wine made of it is unique from several respects. On one hand it has an uncomparable smell and taste and on the other hand due to its high anti-oxidant contents its (moderate) consumption can be even health-improving!
Bel Canto 2008
The first member of the wine family Nectar Sexardique was given the name of Bel Canto to evoke a certain style of singing at the time when the Italian opera was born. This name is due to the exciting fruity flavor of Zweigelt, to the burning fire of Cabernet Sauvignon and the caressing softness of Merlot which all produce the attractive beauty of this wine. Besides the grape types, late harvest and unfiltered bottling also play important roles in the fruity and complex development of the wine. In order to preserve its natural taste the wine has not received a freezing procedure so there can be some leavingsin the bottle which does not effect the pleasure of drinking this wine.
NECTAR SEXARDIQUE®
Doppio, that is dual. This wine is the intersection of two internationally known grape types: Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The aim was to show the finer, easily accessible, exciting and substantial sides of both wines together. Late harvest, utilisation of barrels and ripening in bottles – all of these have worked to achieve this goal.
Musica Nobile 2006 Unfiltered Nectar Sexardique
The wine-family „Nextar Sexardique” contains the cellar’s wines representing its highest quality standards. One of them is Musica Nobile which is a very good piece representing the outstanding quality vintage of 2006. Cabernet Franc, Merlot – as internationally known grape types –and some Zweigelt , as a popular type in Hungary have been put into the cuvée. As a consequence of the hot summer the wine is substantially deep coloured, its smell is characterized by the freshness of the Zweigelt. Its taste is dominated by red fruits which are emphasized by the fine, sweet-ripened tannins. The comsumption temperature of the wine is very important, e.g. it should not be drunk cold. As the wine was embottled unfiltered we can strengthen its full-bodied, dense taste by airing it before comsumption.
Zweigelt Selection 2011
The Zweigelt from Szőlőhegy has duly expressed its gratitude for caretaking.
Blaufrankish Rosé 2006 has been honored by the title “Best Rosé of Szekszárd”
At the 2007 wine competition of Szekszárd the panel of judges gave a gold medal to this wine which, at the same time, received the honorable title of “Best Rosé of Szekszárd”. All the warmth and good of the year 2006 are included in this wine: along with a good body there is a bursting fruitiness in its scent and taste accompanied by a relatively low acid content and smoothness. This is a type of rosé fitting to any set of menu.
Aquarius Cuvée 2006
It was some task and challenge to meet: to compose a wine – bearing in mind all the characteristics of 2006 – which can please wine-enthusiasts of fresh wines who do not care whether there are even too much sunny days and hours to enhance sugar and heat formation. This wine has matured in steel tanks and became smooth after absorbing and blending the ingredients. This is a fresh but not light wine with the Zweigelt as its backbone which defines its dark colour and fruitiness, while the hardness of Blaufrankish and the two Cabernets is diluted by the Merlot. It is for fast consumption for friendly gatherings, evening chats, and Italian pastas.
Kadarka Selection 2006
This is the first from our red wines to get into the wine family of NECTAR SEXARDIQUE
. We set our Kadarka plantation on the highest part of our field in Alsónána. Rays of sunglight reach them from the early morning hours until sunset. For the sake of Selection we picked twice the bunches of grapes on this plantation. Exclusively, ripened and bunches of same quality found their way to the cellar, where we controlled the quality once again before processing. The lower volume of crop resulted in high quality. This wine has been in bottled with an intensive scent, a reddish color characteristic for Kadarka, high level of alcohol and with a pleasant body. We liked so much this wine that we in bottled 60 bottles unfiltered. As a real Kadarka from Szekszárd region we suggest to drink it for everybody at each occasion accompanying every kind of dish.
